Grasp the studio product-creation process, be inspired, experiment with AI tools, and receive one-on-one mentorship on translating an idea into jewelry by contributing initial raw concepts. When you're ready, pitch your idea.
We only take one Apprentice at a time.
Level-up opportunity
☉ Apprentice ➟ Senior Collaborator
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and proficiency with AI tools.
- Generate original concepts and refine them into (1) cohesive idea pitch.
- Present idea clearly with accurate product descriptions and supporting visuals.
- Collaborate with a Director to develop a complete draft proposal for (1) standalone, well-structured on-brand jewelry piece blending creative vision with technical refinements.
Level 2: Senior Collaborator

Grasps the studio product-creation process. Develops and translates pitched idea into a viable design draft proposal.
Level-up opportunity
☉ Senior Collaborator ➟ Lead Designer
- Show a solid understanding of design constraints by fine-tuning the draft proposal into a strong, executable proposal with thoughtful adjustments (e.g. addressing technical flaws, durability, scale, or cost while preserving artistic essence).
- Deliver (1) complete, fully-executable proposal.
- Achieve a successful execution of (1) proposal resulting in the full assembly of (1) physical prototype assembled by a highly-skilled LYBLS™ bench jeweler.
Level 3: Lead Designer
☉ Lead Designer
Successfully leads AI-driven design proposal from raw concepts through ideation and refinement to the final stage of prototype development and assembly.
This marks the end of our formal apprentice program—Lead Designer is our highest level earned through a complete collaboration.
Lead Designers enjoy priority access to request future collaborations that could potentially advance to product launches. All contributors receive appropriate design credit for contributing to a finished product (e.g. *Concept by Jes x LYBLS*) along with industry visibility.
Upon achievement, you will receive:
- Our LYBLS™ DS Lead Designer Level 3 Badge.
- The honorary title "Lead Designer, LYBLS DS" (or “Lead Designer, LYBLS Design Studio” if preferred) yours to keep indefinitely, even if collaborations pause.
- High-quality, un-watermarked studio photos of the prototype you collaborated on. They're yours to use forever (portfolio, social, e-commerce, etc.). No permission needed. Credit LYBLS if it feels right, but it’s never required.
